Simon Cowell was full of praise for Attraction tonight, after it was revealed that they were this year’s Britain’s Got Talent winners.

The Hungarian shadow dancers caused controversy when they made the finals, with some viewers complaining about the fact that they weren’t British. However their patriotic routine obviously won over the haters this evening and after it was revealed that they’d beaten Jack Carroll to the £250,000 prize money, Simon said:

“[It’s] a bit of a surprise but it just shows that this country welcomes people from all over the world and they love this act. I am really, really happy for them.”

Amanda Holden gushed about the dancers, saying:

“I think whatever language you speak, you completely understand their story and I think that’s the bottom line. You don’t have to speak English or anything, you understand what they are trying to do.”

Alesha Dixon said the team have been winners from their first audition and raved:

“The first time we saw them it genuinely was mind blowing, We had never seen anything like that before and then in the semi final they upped their game again, nobody had a dry eye in the room. Tonight, so patriotic for Great Britain. Incredible.”
