We love a good Britain’s Got Talent dance act and so we weren’t at all disappointed by shadow dancers Attraction, who were showcased on tonight’s first episode of the 2013 series.

The ITV show returned with a bang tonight and towards the end of the first instalment 9 dancers from Hungary work took to the stage, to perform an imaginative and incredibly moving routine for Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon.

Before they auditioned, the group leader told Ant and Dec that they would be telling a story through movement and explained:

“This is a love story, because this is an emotional story and a true story. If we won Britain’s Got Talent……this is the top of my life!”

The performance covered love, romance, birth, marriage and even death and by the end you could have heard a pin drop as the audience stared on, open mouthed.

Simon was amazed by the performance and was almost speechless by the time they’d finished. Amanda wasn’t any less moved and told them:

“I actually can’t speak.”

She praised their ‘emotional and touching’ choreography, and told the performers they had been truly ‘amazing.”

Alesha, who knows more about dance than anyone else on the panel, was very close to tears too and told the act that their tryout had been ‘so poignant and emotional.’

She added:

“I forgot that we were here and you just drew me in completely. It was fantastic and I loved it.”

David called the troupe ‘faultless’ while Simon had the final word and thanked Attraction for travelling to the UK to showcase their talents. He claimed to be ‘flattered’ by their decision to apply for his show and added:

“It is one of the best acts I’ve ever seen in terms of originality. It was very touching.”

Unsurprisingly, the troupe got four yeses from the judges and won a place in the next round.

Looks like we have some advertising trolls posting in the threads.

Amazing dance routine and done by shadow theatre techniques. Loved it. But think they should have a show of their own.

  27. USA TIM says:

I have watched the show for many years now from the USA, I hate to say it BUT with Simon on the show it is one of the best talents shows in the world because he tells it like it is, whether we like it or not. I watch it because there has been some amazing talent, and YES I am on the fence about whether or not they should be allowed in, and as I sit here and think about it, like the USA, Britain is extremely diverse and has accepted people from all over world. So I think they should be allowed to continue in the show IF they are one of the top acts. There have been many people who have been in the show who did not originate from Britain. The great thing about this show is the people get to choose the winner, (except those of us who peak in from the USA via Utube), so let them in and let the people choose if they should allow a winner from outside Britain. Sometimes it takes humility to say that someone is better this year than someone from your own country, the Olympics is tough to watch as when we get beat, we have to be happy for other athletes and accept them as the winner, and then go back and train harder. BUT let them in as it was a REALLY great act! And if an act from Britain wins and beats them you will know they beat an amazing act that people around the world thought was amazing. It will mean more to the winner to beat great acts. And if they win, accept the fact that Britain is a world leader in so many things and people will continue to come from around the world and want to be a part of Britain.

    BOSTON STRONG!

The coreographer use to be a member of a boy team in hungary. Called Hip Hop Boys. From the acrobatic hip hop dsnce to this performance….. Fantastic!!!!! Zoltan Szucs, greatest of all!!!! So proud to be hungaryan!!

  30. Joanne says:

I absolutely love them I want to watch more so emotional why is the pragramme called Britains Got Talent if other countries are allowed to participate I don’t understand that bit because I am sure people won’t vote for them as they are not British but they have been allowed to enter Good Luck to them
