Britain’s Got Talent 2013: Simon Cowell teases David Walliams wildcard choice – Steve Hewlett or Joseph Hall?
Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon have chosen their wildcard act for this week’s Britain’s Got Talent final and the judges have been teasing their identity.
Simon Cowell joked on Twitter last night that David had been hoping to put a dog act through (even though there are none in the final 45 this year) and told his millions of followers:
“Wild card has been chosen for next weeks bgt final. I think it will be a popular choice. David chose a dog act. He is a bit tired.”
Despite his joking, Simon asked David to be the one to inform the lucky act that was picked that they would be returning to the ITV stage on Saturday, for one last chance at winning the £250,000 prize money and spot on the Royal Variety Show.
Walliams made that all important call yesterday and tweeted:
“I have called the #BGT wildcard act to let them know the good news. You will find out who this Saturday on ITV.”
He teased his boss adding:
“@SimonCowell For the #BGT wildcard can I chose @theshowbears ?”
David previously revealed that he and Cowell argued over their choices earlier in the week, with the music mogul pushing for another musical act to add to the six singers already in the final, while the comedian wanted ‘more variety.’
Currently Joseph Hall and Steve Hewlett are the bookies’ favourites to win the comeback spot, after they were eliminated last week having both made the top three in their respective semi finals. Alice Fredenham and Youth Creation are also thought to be in with a ood chance.
