Britain’s Got Talent 2013: Simon Cowell thinks he’s ‘bringing the world together’ with Attraction win

Simon Cowell has revealed that he fully agreed with last night’s Britain’s Got Talent result.

The music mogul was delighted when Attraction walked away with the main prize, after ending up in the final three with teenage comedian Jack Carroll and singing siblings Richard and Adam.

Speaking after the main show on Britain’s Got More Talent, Cowell gushed:

“You know what, that’s why we should let the public vote. They always seem to make the right decision.”

He thinks viewers appreciated the British theme of the shadow dancing routine and added:

“I think the right two ended up in the final and that final performance was so smart, so patriotic and the British public obviously got behind them.”

When the Hungarian ambassador called in to thank the public and the judges for getting behind his countrymen, Cowell replied:

“I feel like I am bringing the world together again, like it is one big happy apple.”

He continued:

“I take that responsibility very seriously. I am very happy for the guys and we are very privileged that they came on this show. ”

Humble and modest eh?

  1. Sarah says:

No – it’s BRITAINS got talent!!! All of ours gone to waste!! Jack deserved it!

  2. Maureen says:

They were amazing and the right people won. Jack was a worthy runner up but with youth on his side he could be the next Joe Pasqualle.

Last nights show was very good but the quality of the show and bringing the world together is not down to Simon Cowell that would be arrogant for one person to accept that accolade. The people to have really done this are the contestants and the voting public.

  3. Jane says:

Simon Cowell might say now that he agrees with the result, but I thought he looked pretty fed up on the night.
Anyway, I thought the show was BRITAINS got talent.
What’s all this about bringing the World together?
Congratulations to all the finalists on their amazing performances.
    My favourite was Jack.
