The Britain’s Got Talent team visited Scotland yesterday, as the first round of judges auditions kicked off in Glasgow.
We revealed last night that Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden were on form and the banter was flowing all evening, as the panel sat through hours worth of tryouts from acts desperate to make it onto the live shows.
There have been a lot of complaints this year, about the supposed flood of singing acts appearing on the show once more, so viewers who think the singers should stick to The X Factor may not be pleased to hear that one of the stand out auditions last night was apparently from a band named Little Eye.
The four piece power pop band – consisting of Allan Sieczkowski, Euan Malloch, Jay Hepburn and Marcus Cordock Bass – were formed last year and revealed that they have been writing and recording their debut album ever since. They have become very popular on Youtube and have just released their debut single “Choked Up”.
It sounds like their music went down a treat yesterday and after they performed one of the self penned tunes, Twitter and Facebook was buzzing all night with audience members praising their performance.
“Hey guys, you were fab tonight on BGT, all the best in the rest of the competition!”
“@Iamlittleye Just to tell you, I thought you were Amazing tonight :)”
A third said:
“@iamlittleye I just saw you. Actually amazing well done guys !!!!!! Love you :)”
Nosy as you all are, obviously we don’t want to spoil anything for you guys, so we won’t be revealing what the judges thought of the band, or whether or not they are through to the next stage.
Listen to Little Eye’s debut single and tell us, do you think they’re good enough for the live shows?
