Amanda Holden seemed to enjoy herself at the weekend’s Britain’s Got Talent auditions In Manchester, even revealing that she thinks they found their winner in the English city.
The actress joined David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and eventually Simon Cowell for the latest round of tryouts for the ITV show yesterday and as the day rounded up she tweeted her followers saying:
“Thank you Manchester!! Ta-ra!! I honestly think we found our winner in this city!! X”
Walliams was just as impressed and added:
“Me too. x”
The day started out a little bit strangely, as Simon Cowell missed the early auditions due to a migraine. That left David in charge and he was missing his boss badly.
“Apparently we are starting BGT auditions without my Simon today. He isn’t well. I wish I could be there to nurse him or give him a bed-bath.”
The trio of judges conducted auditions without the music mogul all morning but later in the day, for the evening session the TV boss returned, much to the delight of David who wrote:
“My Simon’s here…! So happy. x”
Holden wasn’t quite so delighted to see her boss back, as she and Alesha had been getting used to relaxing with their slippers on in his absence. The mum of two shared this photo with the caption:
“While the cats away @SimonCowell ! The slipper sisters!!”
Simon was every bit as harsh with the acts yesterday, headache or not and after one performance he blasted the hopefuls saying:
““It was funny for a minute. I mean… is THAT your act?”
David tweeted his followers last night, admonishing the star. He wrote:
“We saw so much brilliant talent this weekend for the BGT auditions in Manchester. Just a shame my Simon was showing off again.”
