Britain’s Got Talent 2014: Audition dates confirmed for Cardiff, Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, London & Edinburgh
It feels like Britain’s Got Talent has only just ended, but already show bosses are planning out the next auditions for the show.
The ITV series will kick off next April, but tryouts begin far before that and ITV have confirmed six cities that their team will visit on their search for performing hopefuls.
The initial producer auditions kick off in just a few weeks time and the BGT staff will visit Cardiff, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Belfast and Edinburgh. They will see thousands of hopefuls at each venue and only a few hundred will be put through to the next round, where they will face the judges.
The list of open audition dates are:
October 19th-20th SWALEC Stadium, Cardiff
October 28th-30th The ICC, Birmingham
November 9th-11th Manchester Central, Manchester
November 16th-20th Emirates Stadium, London
November 24th TBC, Belfast
November 30th-December 1st TBC, Edinburgh
Alesha Dixon, David Walliams, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden will all be back for the 2014 series and Simon revealed what he wants from hopefuls, explaining:
“This year I want even bigger and better than before. We want the sensational, the original and of course the best. I want something that I’ve never seen before.”
Simon and his costars will hit the road in January and whittle down the singers, dancers, comedians, gymnasts and musicians to much smaller bunch who can go on to perform on the live shows.
