This weekend, the Britain’s Got Talent auditionees were informed who has gone through to the live shows.
The deliberations were a bit more public this time, as Simon Cowell decided that this too is now a red carpet event.
Before starting, David Walliams cheekily Tweeted: “I will be with my @SimonCowell later for the #BGT deliberation day. I am hoping to see his little man. And also his baby.”
Sadly, neither were seen, at least not on the red carpet.
One other judge wasn’t seen walking the carpet either, as Amanda Holden had more urgent commitments, appearing at Crufts to support “Act on Lungworm” a campaign to raise awareness of lungworm in dogs.
Lungworm is often caused by dogs eating snails or slugs, Cases are, said by animal health experts, spreading across the UK at an “alarming” rate – with about a fifth of veterinary practices having treated the condition. You can protect your dog against it.

Naturally, the dog loving judge could not resist cuddling up to some adorable puppies. She did arrive to deliberations later, and told her followers all was going well: “Had a wonderful day at BGT. Met little Eric. He is Gorgeous And @simoncowell a natural x”
A day later, David missed part of the deliberations as he finally held the Mega Children’s Event he had to cancel because of surgery in December. Hosted by Stephen Mulhern, the day was a joy for the children as well as adults.
At the event David debuted a surprising new look; instead of his usually sombre black suited look, he appeared in a fetching purple one. We think it’s a look he should keep, as it brightens him, and suits (pun intended ;-)) his personality.
The event itself was a big success: Featuring stands with the characters from David’s books come to life, David reading stories and doing signings and pictures for everyone, candy and chocolate and much, much more.
David’s Twitter timeline was soon flooded with parents thanking him for a wonderful day and being so nice an generous and children telling him how much they loved it and how inspired they were by him.
Little Stephen Mulhern had a great time himself too, saying: “What a great morning hosting @davidwalliams ‘World Of Walliams Mega Event’ and The Palace Theatre is stunning. A superb audience too!”

A job well done there!!
Yesterday was the last day to decide for the judges.
So, now we have to wait and see: who has gone through to the finals? And will David wear more colour this season?
