Britain’s Got Talent: Alesha Dixon is backing ‘cool’ Ryan O’Shaughnessy and Loveable Rogues
Alesha Dixon has admitted that some of the ‘cool’ acts have really made this year’s series of Britain’s Got Talent for her.
The former Strictly Come Dancing judge will appear on the last show of the series this evening, when the last eleven acts will all compete for £500,000 prize money and the chance to perform for the queen on The Royal variety Show later this year.
She admitted that she would love to return to the judging panel for the 2013 run, saying:
“I’d love to come back next year. If I’m asked back – I’d jump at the chance.”
Dixon added:
“I’ve loved all the banter between the Judges and all the crazy dancing in our seats during performances – that never happened on Strictly Come Dancing!”
On what exactly she likes about the show, Alesha admitted that she enjoys the ‘crazy’ element mixed with the ‘cool’ acts and the vibe that gives the ITV venture.
She explained:
“Britain’s Got Talent is amazing; it’s end-of-pier, crazy and credible. Acts like Ryan and The Loveable Rogues give the show a contemporary and cool feel. I’ve had the time of my life.”
Both Ryan O’Shaughnessy and The Loveable Rogues will return to the BGT stage this evening, for the final show. They will compete against nine other acts for the winner’s title and the largest prize fund ever on offer on the show.

Ashley and Pudsey to win
It all depends on how people perform, but my favorites to win are either Charlotte and Jonathan or Ashleigh and Pudsey. I have enjoyed Alesha on the show very much. She really gets involved, helping Malaki right away when he needed comforting, grooving with James Ingham when he danced to her song (The Boy Does Nothing), rapping the “Where’s My Keys, Where’s my Phone” number right away during the judge’s comments on Mr. Zip, catching on and participating quickly in the “mutinies” voting for Tina McBrien and Tony Roberts, the so so so so scandalous crazy promotional bits, etc. etc. Of course, the ongoing dialogue during auditions between David and Simon has been priceless. I like Amanda, too. She just tends to be a bit quieter. Someone has to be.
