Britain’s Got Talent: Amanda Holden lands American TV deal

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has landed a lucrative TV deal with US network CBS.

Holden, 39, will fly out to the states just three weeks after Britain’s Got Talent wraps and will be the main female anchor on the network’s flagship breakfast programme ‘The Early Show.’

A source said: “It is a massive deal for her and she was absolutely thrilled.

“Her profile is on the rise Stateside and viewers love her cut-glass accent and easy manner.

“She is a natural presenter and has taken to it like a duck to water. Executives at CBS are predicting big things for her. It is an exciting time.”

Susan Boyle has a lot to answer for! Before the rise of the Scottish singer, folks in American didn’t even know who Amanda Holden was. We apologise to all you Americans in advance but at least the deal will promise us a bit of Holden free time!
