Britain’s Got Talent presenters Ant and Dec have compared this year’s singing accountant Christopher Stone to last year’s runner up, Susan Boyle.

28 year old Chris impressed Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan on Saturday night’s show with his rendition of ‘Maria’ from West Side Story (video here). Susan found overnight fame after auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent last year, she has since released a record breaking album and raked in more than £4 million.

Ant and Dec think that Chris’ audition was a real Susan Boyle moment for the audience. They told The Sun:

“Is it just us or did his performance evoke the same wow factor that Susan did?”

But Britain’s Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern said that Chris needed “more oomph”.
