Britain’s Got Talent: Ashleigh admits that Pudsey snubbed Simon Cowell!

Pudsey is the moist famous dog in the UK right now and it seems he knows it.

While everyone else in the country seems to be bowing and scraping to music mogul Simon Cowell, after winning Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday night, the talented pooch kept the TV boss waiting for 30 minutes before joining Ashleigh for a visit to his dressing room and then refused to sit on his lap for more than a few seconds.

Simon is a huge dog lover and was keen to meet the canine star, when the live show ended. But his teenage owner Ashleigh admitted that the dog wasn’t overly impressed by Cowell at all.

She told The Sun:

“Pudsey kept Simon waiting for 30 minutes to see him as he had some filming to do.

“And when we went into his dressing room, he wasn’t like ‘oh my God, you’re Simon Cowell’.

“He treated him like a normal person. Simon was going, ‘Pudsey come on my lap’ — but he only stayed there for about three seconds and then he got off again. It was a bit of a shame. But I still think Simon’s in love with Pudsey.”

We wonder if Cowell was miffed? Or maybe it was nice for someone or something to treat him normally for a change!

Ashleigh won £500,000 when she triumphed on Saturday night and she claimed that she would give half to her dog, but since he couldn’t spend it, she would have to do it for him. Top of her list of Pudsey treats is some nice new food and a sparkly new lead and collar.

The cash could soon look like small change, as it has been claimed that the pair could go on to earn upward of ten million pounds if they play their cards right and insiders say Cowell is backing them all the way – setting up meetings for film offers and book deals.

Celebrity agent Jonathan Shalit – who currently manages X Factor judge Tulisa – is in charge of sorting through all the offers and admitted that he thinks Ashleigh and Pudsey will be huge.

He said:

“This dog will be huge. I’ve had so much interest already — and he’s only just won.”
