Britains Got Talent: Craig Harper Reaches Semi Finals

Craig started entertaining when he was eight, busking in the fish and chip shop where his mum used to work. In 1999 he became a full time entertainer touring holiday parks and clubs around the country. Craig’s ultimate ambition is to have a sell out theatre tour and to host a TV game show, like his heroes Joe Pasquele and Lee Evans. Craig lives outside Leeds with his wife and two children aged 10 and 14. His Gran inspired him to go into entertaining always giving him encouragement and support from an early age. It was her dream to see him perform on the Royal Variety but sadly she passed away last year.

Judges Comments:

No buzzers and three Yes’s from the Judges

Amanda – Marvellous, a breath of fresh air. You have the likeability factor. I’m strangely drawn to you.

Piers – I preferred you to the real Boyzone.

Simon – You are very punter friendly. You have the look of Les Dennis with the hair and suit. Good singing impersonator.

Craig is a wannabe Joe Longthorne and a poor mans version
who has copied joes hair style and mannerisms badly
Joe Longthorne tells his fans in an interview that he
also used to sing in a chip shop Joe Longthorne is an
amazing entertainer im sorry craig but you are already a
worn out failed singer truly a poor mans Joe Longthorne.
