Britain’s Got Talent: David Hasselhoff reduced to tears by disabled dancing boy

David Hasselhoff looks at home already!

David Hasselhoff has admitted that he couldn’t stop the tears, when he watched a disabled child try out for Britain’s Got Talent.

The former Baywatch star was speaking to Unreality TV at this week’s press screening of the series’ first episode, when he chose the act as one of his favourites from this year’s lineup.

Describing the London boy as “an amazing kid”, The Hoff – who previously judged on America’s Got Talent – said his audition was “the most emotional moment in the show”.

He explained:

“The real young talent in this show is a dancer and it was pretty much for me the most emotional moment in the show.”

“He has a handicap. He came alive and he was just unbelievable. You could see him dance his life out on that stage and it was pretty emotional for me. He was an amazing kid.”

He added: “They had us all in tears. It was amazing and I think that’s what the audience wants to see. I notice watching it here today, even though we’ve seen all the acts, we’re still moved because we hadn’t seen all the back stories.”

Michael McIntyre agreed that viewers will be blown away by the performance.

Britain’s Got Talent launches tomorrow at 8.20pm on ITV1.
