After it got quiet at the Britain’s Got Talent TV studios on Sunday, following the final of the ITV show, it also got quiet on David Walliams’ Twitter feed.

Over the weeks we got used to the funny tweets and remarks by the Britain’s Got Talent judge, so we were missing them dearly but last night it became clear why he hadn’t tweeted for a while……Poor David is still yearning for his beloved Simon Cowell.

Taking to his Twitter, the Little Britain star sadly told his followers:

“I really miss my Simon…”

He then tweeted out a link to an article in which Alesha Dixon talked about how Simon wooed her with flowers and sadly added:

“He never bloody sent me flowers…!”

Poor David!!

With Simon working on X Factor USA in LA, it will be quite a while before David will see his Simon again but hopefully absence will make the heart grow fonder!

Luckily Walliams has the Olympics to look forward too, and in this new video it looks like David is taking his post as Olympic Swimming Ambassador very seriously indeed!
