Britain’s Got Talent: David Walliams presents his autobiography & is reunited with the dog he rescued during Sport Relief Swim (PICTURES)
While the other judges relaxed after three days of ten hour judging, David Walliams refused to take it easy and continued on his many other jobs.
On Thursday David tweeted:
“My glamorous international life took me to Newport South Wales today. I was there to meet the team from Penguin Books who are publishing my autobiography ‘Camp David’. Yes it’s really called that.”
He was pictured by fans at Newport station texting and “the poor man looked scared” according to them. If he was no-one noticed at the the Penguin conference where David along with, Claire Balding and Will Gompertz all presented their new books, live and in person. There were also presentations from Jamie Oliver and Dawn French via video.
It looks like we’ll be in for a treat with David’s autobiography, as Penguin sales coordinator Beckcki Wells reported after: “Amazing penguin conference today!! Thank you David Walliams for sharing your hilarious story.”
Following that, Mr Walliams turned his attention back to Sport Relief on Friday doing a full day of media interviews to promote the premiere of his gruelling Thames Swim documentary next month. He even found time to tweet his fans some delightful stills from the show, stating:
“My favourite scene in the Thames swim documentary which will be on BBC1 next month is where Rob Brydon and I share a cupcake. He always makes me laugh. Jimmy Carr is very funny in it too!”
But the most delightful picture came a few moments later, when David told us: “I have been re-united with Vinnie who I saved from drowning in the Thames for a Radio Times photoshoot.”
Reminding us all what a hero he was in September, saving such a sweet dog!!
