Britain’s Got Talent: David Walliams to be interviewed by Sarah Brown & see clip of him praising team GB! (VIDEO)
The Independent has reported that Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams’ appearance at the Edinburgh International Book Festival will be a very special one…
Nick Barley, the director, reveals that Sarah Brown, wife of the former PM Gordon Brown, will be interviewing David on 27 August about his latest children’s book, Ratburger.
She revealed her love of Walliams’ books to Barley after a book event with her husband last year.
“She is a real fan of his books so I said to her: ‘how about chairing his event?’ She agreed and of course there is always a slightly anxious moment [when you tell the author of their chair] but David Walliams was absolutely delighted,” Barley says…
Sounds interesting.
Meanwhile David is still deeply emerged in the Olympics, and Rebecca Adlington’s biggest supporter.
Taking to Twitter he celebrated his golden girl: “Congratulations to Rebecca Adlington today. Another Olympic medal… x”
He later praised the entire Team GB: “Team GB is 4th in the Olympic Medals Table. Amazing when as we are only an ickle country.”
After thousands of followers told him we are actually third David quickly said: “Bloody hell now we are 3rd…!!!”
Adding: “14 gold medals! Well done Jess and little Mo. x Sorry I forgot Greg Rutherford’s gold yesterday. #don’tforgetGreg”
David also recorded the special video below, in which he answers questions about his knowledge of sport, his challenges and praising Team GB.
