Britain’s Got Talent: David Walliams to release new book ‘Ratburger’ earlier due to massive demand!
David Walliams’ books are incredibly popular with kids, adults, pensioners and beyond, so it comes as no surprise that people cannot wait for the next book. In fact there has been so much demand for the comedian’s novels that publishers Harper Collins have decided to rush release his latest effort “Ratburger”.
The press release says:
“For all those who loved Gangsta Granny David’s new book will be out sooner than expected! 19th September.”
Ratburger, David’s fifth book for children, is pure Walliams genius. In this fabulously flamboyant tale, David introduces us to uber-villain, Burt, who will undoubtedly go down in children’s books history as the character all children love to hate.
The new story tells the tale of little lonely Zoe and her ice- cream loving Dad. Zoe must rescue her newly adopted rat, Armitage, from the clutches of Burt but will she be successful?
This wildly exciting adventure is packed full of zest, jeopardy and classic Walliams wit. Once again, David’s characters will be brought to life with jacket and line illustrations by world renowned illustrator, Tony Ross.
Talking about the new book, David said “I can’t wait for my young fans to get their hands on ‘Ratburger’. It is my scariest and funniest book yet.””
I hope people over 25 can be considered young fans too, as I can’t wait to read it! Will you be picking up a copy? Leave your comments below…
