Britain’s Got Talent: Faryl Smith Lands HUGE Record Deal

Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Faryl Smith has landed a 2.3 million record deal this week, the biggest ever for a British schoolchild.

Faryl was snapped up by the label that made Katherine Jenkins a household name, Universal Classics and Jazz.

Faryl told The Sun: “This is about the opportunity of a lifetime.

“Singing is my passion and to have the opportunity to make a career of it at such a young age is a dream come true.”

    This is good news.

Sony BMG do look after the young and up and coming.

A shame they couldn’t be less ageist and sign up a few 40 year olds + .

I got to the same school as Faryl, and let me tell you, she is not the ’sweet little girl’ you see on tv. Gone are the long dresses, on with the caked make up and bomber jackets. She’s the regular ‘popular teen queen chav’: think Mean Girls, and this is prior to BGT! She’s quite rude and aloof in reality, and as a bebo user who has seen her pics… she acts a LOT older than her years, trust me! Sorry to shatter any illusions, but the way
she’s treated people who aren’t popular and don’t conform isn’t fair, and people should know.

Honestly, with the super-stellar voice I’ve witnessed, rich in its every syllable, delivered with precision and maturity unmatched in my 48 years of close music affiliation, she can be anything she wants.

Hopefully, with age will come true maturity and personal growth. At twelve, she is within her right to somehow celebrate her uncanny talent. I applaud her ability to pull it off.

Remember that treatment of others is often an outward cry for inward need. I for one love her, and can’t get enough of her operatic, intensely perfect, lilting voice.

If one has issues with her behaviors, I suggest a study in the mirror to counter any such immature actions with the exemplification of another talent you may have that is stymied by your focus on others’ fault. Let’s prop each other up, and recognize brilliance, then find it within ourselves.

It is a short journey from birth to death. Don’t waste a second.

Faryl, I’d welcome you and your family in my home any day, any week, any year. Thank you for the opportunity to be reduced immediately to tears on every occasion that I hear your voice.

    h. I agree. I go to a school near hers and I know a few people who go to her school and I hear she is very mean and thinks that because she’s famous she can do what she wants. THAT is the real Faryl Smith. She is NOT a goody little two shoes opera singer. She is a SPOILT LITTLE STUCK UP SNOB! Everyone at my school hates her guts.

Btw. George Sampson was the definite winner of Britain’s Got Talent.
