Faryl Smith may have been compared to Charlotte Church since her amazing Britain’s Got Talent performance on Saturday night, but the twelve year old insists that she will never move onto pop music as Charlotte has.

Faryl told The Sun: “I am similar to Charlotte Church but I don’t think I want to do pop. I wouldn’t change from singing classical.”

She revealed that since meeting her idol Katherine Jenkins, she aspires to be more like her.

She said: “Katherine’s PR heard me and couldn’t believe my voice so he arranged for me to meet her.

“She gave me lots of tips and told me to try and enter competitions with kids so I didn’t feel like the only one singing like I do. I would love to be like Katherine Jenkins.”
