Britain’s Got Talent: George Sampson To Meet Long Lost Dad
Britain’s Got Talent winner, George Sampson is reportedly being reunited with his dad today.
George is performing in his home town of Warrington this afternoon and his dad Brian, who has only seen him once in the last five years is planning to attend.
“I can’t wait to see George dance,” Brian told the Daily Star Sunday. “At first I wasn’t going to go along because I wasn’t sure he’d want me there. But I have decided I have got every right to go because he is my son and I would give anything to see him perform.
“Just to see him dance would make me the proudest dad in the world. But I have also decided I will stay at the back to start with and just see how things go. If I think there could be any trouble I will just leave for George’s sake.”
Brian split from George’s mother Lesley five years ago. Their divorce was finalised earlier this year.
He added: “The law here doesn’t give estranged fathers the proper rights to see their children. I think George will want me to come and see him. I am nervous but I feel it is the right thing to do.”

Apparently George wants to see his dad but his mum does not want him in his life and George does not want to be disloyal to his mum. You never know in papers what is true and what isn’t but problems betwen parents should not stop either parent being involved in the childrens life.
