Britains Got Talent: James Stone Reaches Semi Finals

James started singing when he was 14 years old. He’s always had a passion for performing ever since he was a child and performed in front of his family. He’s totally self taught, and prides himself in spreading good vibrations through his music.

The first time James took his talent seriously was when he entered a competition at the age of 18 called ‘Bailey’s Top Talent’. He was given the stage name of ‘Tony Ricardo’ for the competition and then went on to gig around the UK under the same name.

James has been involved in numerous competitions around the UK including-

Search for a star- filmed in the 1980’s.

New Faces- filmed in the 1980’s

Classy Acts (HTV)- filmed in 2003

James has performed in a variety of venues including holiday camps, gay bars, private party’s weddings and top class hotels.

James has his own recording studio at home where he writes and records his own music and is currently working on a musical. He also spends a lot of his time creating and performing educational plays and musicals in schools and college’s around Wales.

Music is James’ life. He’s always performed and he describes it as his best friend. His luck for music has helped him get through some really hard times and he can’t see himself doing anything else with his life.
