Britain’s Got Talent hopeful Janey Cutler has revealed that she has a bit of a soft spot for Simon Cowell.

Janey, 81, wowed the judges with her rendition of French legend Edith Piaf’s Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien on Saturday night’s show. The mum of 7, grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 4 caused Simon Cowell to exclaim that she had “3,003 yesses” while Amanda Holden gushed: “I didn’t expect a set of lungs like that!”. Speaking to STV, she admitted: “I like the judges, that Simon Cowell is a nice man.”

And talking about her future on the show she said: “If I won? That’s not something I’ve even thought about, I’m just happy to be doing something I enjoy in singing.

“Any money would go towards animals and kiddies who I adore, why have money sat in the bank when it can help people? I would look after my family and the grandchildren.”
