Britains Got Talent: Jeremy Lynch

Jeremy played for Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur youth as a teenager but was dropped from the squads. He saw a Nike advert with a football free-styler on it on television when he was twelve years old and he loved it and spent hours trying to re-create it in his back garden. He can now do 500 tricks. He competes in freestyle competitions and normally does pretty well. He entered a freestyle competition to be in a NIKE advert in 2002, which is where he met his former partner, Mike.

They have performed at half time in Upton park to 30,000 people. (Mike was on holiday, so couldn’t compete in the competition). Jeremy entered Britain’s Got Talent to raise his profile and to try to achieve his dream of becoming a pro-footballer. Jeremy has also appeared in the 2007 documentary film In the Hands of the Gods – A film about three young football free stylers (Jeremy is one of them) on a journey across America to meet their hero, Maradona.

Jeremy lives in Hornchurch, Essex with his parents, two sisters and his brother. He and one of his sisters are the only sporty members of the family, although his Dad ‘likes to think he can play football’. He is at University studying sports science and football coaching at the moment.
