Britain’s Got Talent: Julian Smith Wows On Saxophone
On tomorrow night’s Britain’s Got Talent Julian Smith shows up at the Birmingham auditions. He tells Ant and Dec, “Playing Saxophone is my life, I’ve been playing this for 20 years and to just purely play it for a living would be the ultimate dream”
“I’m married and I have two daughters, I know I’m not getting any younger and I want to make life better for them , I’m hoping today could change everything for me, I want it more than anything” says Julian
Julian walks on stage and Piers starts talking to him, My dream is to play to audiences like this on a regular basis he tells Piers
Julian starts playing Somewhere Somehow from West Side Story on his Saxophone, he stuns the audience, Judges and Ant & Dec….reducing Amanda to tears.
It’s smiles all round but is it enough to see him through to the next round?

i loved it i just want his music playing loud blast in my car am a mobile hairdresser and it just would be wonderful to listen has i go round so soothing wen can i buy it soon as possible please.
Julian was amazing to listen to & watch. His performances on the BGT show were so good that I just had to convert the experiences into MP3s so that I can listen to them over and over again while traveling.
His version of “Somewhere” from West Side Story was pure love. He should definitely make a longer version of that and put it in his upcoming (I hope) CD along with his version of Eric Carmen’s “All By Myself” song.
Songs that good that are only 1:50 long are just a tease. I am thinking about just looping certain parts of the songs so that I can extend them to at least 4 minutes each. I just cannot wait to get home each day to my computer to hear those beautiful songs from Julian so I am very glad that my cell phone plays MP3s really well.

Julian you was amazing, i was devasted when you came 3rd but well done for getting that far. I haven’t stopped listening to you on You Tube since i 1st heard you at the audition.

Does anyone out there know how I could purchase any of Julian Smith aka Joolz Gianni’s cds here in the USA? I have not been able to find anything so far and olny Amazon UK has a wait list. I have been following “Britian’s Got Talent” and Joolz was realy good in my opion. He bets Kenny-G from over here. I have been listening to youtube the one song that is off his Silver album.

Hi again, just wanted to say how much I feel about Julian and his music. He is one of the most gifted, talented and artistic musician’s I have heard in a very long time. Everyday I look for the two pieces of music he so beautifully played on BGT. Can’t get “Somewhere” and “All By Myself” out of my head. He is definitely as good, if not better than Kenny G. From a hopeful and patient fan. Julian, if you read this, I wish you all the luck in the world with your future as a great and wonderful musician. You are a very very special person and quite unique.
