Britains Got Talent: Mandy Ellen Dancers Through To Semi Finals!
Mandy Ellen dance group consists of 39 dancers aged 10 – 24. They are part of the Mandy Ellen School of Dance which has 500 members based in Maidstone. This group was put together especially for Britain’s Got Talent. It is the first time the school has entered a competition as they normally put on variety shows at their local theatre. Mandy Ellen, 36 runs the school and has been teaching since she was 18 she describes the group as a family as some have been with her since they were 4.
Mandy has danced all her life, she decided to go into teaching after finding the whole audition process of professional dancing disheartening. She also gets a lot of satisfaction from teaching.
Judges Comments:
One buzzer and three Yes’s from the Judges
Amanda – brilliant, loved the ballerinas.
Piers – Loved it. Took too long to move onto the 2nd dancers.
Simon – Tap section was un-natural. Got a bit messy at the end.

We are members of the Mandy Ellen Dancers. We didn’t get any buzzers at all through the whole competetion. They also didnt say anything about the tap being messy, they said it was really good
. This is why we got to the semis, if we got buzzed, we wouldnt have got three yeses.
