Britains Got Talent: Mary Halford March
The group all attend Mary Halford School of Dance in Liverpool run by Mary Halford. Mary has been running the school for 18 years for kids of all ages and also has another group (Boogie Wonderland) who are also through to live finals. There are around 200 children who attend the school but Mary entered this youth team to represent because they recently came first in a local dance competition with the same routine. The area the kids come from is not the nicest and a lot of them are form quite poor backgrounds. Mary only charges £2 a class so everyone can attend because she says they are good kids and this keeps them all out of trouble. She does a lot of fund raising for the school and bought all of the costumes for the children with this money so nobody has to miss out because they can’t afford the costumes or lessons.
Mary feels entering Britain’s Got Talent has given the kids something new and exciting to look forward.
