Britain’s Got Talent: More Auditions!
Show 3 Monday 11th June 9pm ITV1
After three days of auditions you may have thought you’d seen it all but you’d be wrong, because tonight we’ve got more unbelievable acts, more laughter and more tears.
Don’t you wish you’re girlfriend, or is it boyfriend, look hot like me?
First up are nine friends who put a big smile on Simon’s face once they walk out on stage, but that smile soon fades when he realises the girl group before him is actually made up of nine transgender men!
The Kit Kat Dolls, as they like to be known do their own rendition of the Pussycat Dolls hit and Simon looks like he’s thoroughly enjoying the performance!
Simon, “I’m lost for words, are you really all men?”. Amanda, “Fantastic, as soon as you walked out I knew I’d like you”. So looks like Simon might be seeing more of the ladies!
Bet you’d be good at twister…
Next up in front of the judges is husband and wife duo Rebecca and Donovan, aka Crazeehorse who are an acro-balancing act. The pair met ten years ago on a cruise ship, got married and are now hoping that together they can impress the queen.
And the duo’s acro-balancing act, complete with revealing flesh coloured outfits leaves everyone in the theatre aghast as they get intimate in impossible looking balancing moves.
Piers certainly looks impressed, “Rebecca, if you two ever get divorced I’m available, that was a “wow” act”.
Singing dog?
Not quite so “wow” is next act Nicola with her singing dog Mitzy-moo. Nicola discovered Mitzy’s skills when she used to sing along to Nicola’s mobile ring tone of Crazyfrog. But the act leaves the judges particularly under whelmed. “My problem is,” says Simon “what would Her Majesty make of Mitzy Moo, it’s ludicrous, I’d never stand a chance of a knighthood”.
Back to Homebase
Mitzy might not be performing for the Queen, but confident that they will are duo keyboarding duo Amadeus. After a chance meeting at their local DIY store, Gary and Trevor discovered a mutual love for the keyboard, and the rest as they say is history..!
“Trevor came into Homebase where I was working and we got chatting and discovered our mutual love for the keyboard, so after 15 years in the closet I finally found someone to share my love of music”, explains Gary. “We really believe everyone will be blown away by our music.”
Performing their own composition “Moments” they are hoping the judges will believe they’ve found a new undiscovered talent. But it’s not a great start with Gary starting his keyboard routine before Trevor, and within seconds the audience are chanting “Off, Off, Off”. It looks like it might be back to Homebase then guys.
Never too late to chase your dreams
One man hoping to prove it’s never too late to shine is 79 year old ex Army Corporal Jack Reeves. After loosing his wife to cancer 10 years ago, Jack went through a bad period of depression, but after a very happy Christmas in 2003, Jack made it his new year’s resolution to keep smiling, so he decided to take up tap dancing, and he’s not had a down day since.
Once on stage, he certainly gets the audience, Simon and Amanda smiling with his routine, but Piers is less than impressed and buzzes him out early on. “I just don’t think the Queen will enjoy it”, but will Simon and Amanda agree, and will Jack leave the stage with the smile he walked in with?
Free runners
Hoping they can spring to success are four best mates from Essex, the Freerunners, which if you are not familiar with the sport basically involves jumping off buildings and obstacles. But before they start their act they ask Ant and Dec for a hand, wanting them to stand as props for the boys to jump over!
“It’s a hard one for me” says Simon, “It’s very impressive and technical but I’m just not sure it will work as an act”. Will the best friends, and Ant and Dec, make it through to the next round?
Could it Be Magic?
32 year old Dave Allen and his daredevil duck Domino are hoping they’ve got the magic touch to get through to perform for the Queen.
Dave describes his act as a ventriloquist illusion act, but the illusion is quickly lost when his “magic” cannon back fires, and Domino 1 and Domino 2 both appear on stage, much to the hilarity of the audience. “That was well and truly “ducked””, is all Piers and the judges have to say, better luck next time Domino.
Blood and gore
For all the magicians that come to audition they all have one thing in common, the judges hate them. But can the next act work his magic and pull a rabbit out the hat?
30 year old horror magician Roger, aka Dr Gore, and his two assistants show the judges a unique spin on the magic act which is full of blood, gore and chainsaws. But has he killed his assistant, or is that just part of the act?
Piers, “You are sick Dr Gore, but that was the funniest thing I’ve seen in years.” Here’s hoping the luck has changed for the magicians, and maybe this is one magic act that just might make it through to the next round.
Mum knows best
21 year old watch repairer Scott Holtam has never performed outside of his bedroom and has been dragged down to the auditions by his Mum Audrey. “I’m so nervous, I’ve never performed in front of anyone, I just hope the judges like it or I’ll be blaming my Mum!” says Scott. Can he take his break-dance routine from the bedroom to the big stage?
After his performance Amanda is certainly impressed, “Scott you had me on hello”, but will his act, and not just his looks impress Piers and Simon as well or will it be back to the bedroom for Scott?
Simon’s not in a good mood
After Scott the day goes down hill, with one bad act after another, and when drag duo Linda Limelight and her partner in crime Hazelnut, dragged along inside a suitcase, come on stage, Simon looks like he is losing the will to live, and even Piers can’t hide his dissatisfaction, “I’ve just lost a minute of my life I am never going to get back”.
During the break Simon moans to the cameras, “It has been unspeakably awful the entire day, I’m not even in the mood to have this conversation”, and a very grumpy Simon storms off.
But backstage the mood in the holding room is still high and one little girl is hoping to change Simon’s mood, 6 year old Connie Talbot. With her Mum waiting in the wings its time for Connie, and her winning toothless smile, to change the judge’s moods. Singing Somewhere Over The Rainbow Connie soon bring the smile back to Simon’s face, and considering Simon hasn’t been impressed with most of the child acts, with even Piers and Amanda referring to him as the “child catcher”, she’s done well to impress him.
Simon, “Connie, I’m going to talk to you like an adult because I think you deserve it, but I thought you were fantastic, pitch perfect”.
So 6 year old Connie, becomes the youngest contestant to date to make it through the next round.
Tune in tomorrow night for more fun, thrills and spills on Britain’s Got Talent

My name is Nat Udom ( a man who live as a man but ONLY dress up to be on stage-pink and yellow short dress ) and I’m a member of The Kit Kat Dolls.
After the news, we were VERY sad and crying to lose the GREAT opportunity to be something that the society would have accepted us more in the positive way. It was NOT fair on the honest working band members like myself and others ( who are NOT for sale and NEVER have been ) who had worked SO hard to get there and then our dreams shattered by ONLY one member. Those 2 members ( Toni and Alex ) had told us about their past and they said that they will NEVER do it again, we therefore accepted them because we believed that if we could improve the lives of Toni and Alex to be better then we ( as the human beings) definitely would do that. I personally think that every single one of us should give the opportunity to people who are less fortunate than the ones who are already lucky, don’t you think? Every single one of us should learn how to love and care to others and willing to understand and improve lives of some people to be better with what we can. However, We were asking the ITV producers to let the rest of us ( 6 members ) to continue the show, but they refused us. We started to cry as soon as ITV producers said that the whole band had to be punished which was VERY unfair for the rest of the group. We live in the year of 2007 with democracy but we were treated with something which was NOT democracy.
