If we are to believe Stephen Mulhern, we are in for a treat with the upcoming opening titles of Britain’s Got More Talent.
The Britain’s Got More Talent presenter told The Sun:
“We’ve tried to get as many different acts as possible doing the Harlem Shake for our opening titles. Simon does the slow start, then the judges get into it. You’ve got David Walliams kicking his legs behind his head, Alesha Dixon going for it and Simon nodding his head. Then Simon started moving his arms about! I couldn’t believe Simon would let all the judges gyrate around him. If we’d asked him to do that three years ago the answer would have been no.”
More and more people have been commenting on how the presence of David Walliams has changed the music mogul for the better, and it is clear the pair have become good friends, with David Tweeting last Thursday:
“I has dinner last night with @SimonCowell and @sinittaofficial Sinitta and I had to refer to him as ‘our Simon’ all night to avoid a scene.”
On Monday David teased the music mogul, saying:
“I am very excited to announce that @SimonCowell and I will be doing a reality TV series together for ITV2 entitled ‘Simon & David Unzipped’.”
But with Simon’s new “fun factor” I wouldn’t be surprised if he’d consider it. Maybe they could be joined by Sir Mick Jagger, who also likes to joke with the comic:
On Monday night David revealed:
“Tomorrow is the first day of filming on ‘Big School’. I am so excited to act opposite the great Catherine Tate.”
The next day an excited Little Britain star showed snaps of his hall pass and the first take board. When asked by the Catherine Tate fanclub after the first day of filming how he liked working with her, David happily said: “Catherine is astonishingly good. She’s so funny and such a great actress.”
They are already building up a repartee together as Yasmin, who plays one of David’s class said:
“Catherine Tate and David Walliams just told me off for not eating a main meal and going straight to desert hehe”
It was revealed today that David Walliams is on the shortlist for the Independent Bookseller Awards.
