Britain’s Got Talent: The Urban Gypsies Let It All Hang Out!
On Britain’s Got Talent tomorrow night we meet the Urban Gypsies, a group of middle aged ladies from Stockport that include a Nursery Nurse, Primary school teacher and Dinner lady amongst others. “We’re made up of middle aged ladies from all walks of life, what you see on stage is our alter egos”
Simon Cowell asks, “Where do you think you could be in five years with this act?”, Urban Gypsies reply “We want to take belly dancing to the world, we want to show women (and men) that dancing isn’t just for young people but for people of all shapes and sizes”, the audience applause.
After their performance, Amanda says “I really enjoyed that – very entertaining”, Piers isn’t so impressed he says “You didn’t rock my Kaz Bar and you’ve proved dancing is for young fit people”, the audience boo. Simon asks “What’s your name, third row on right, you need a support bra darling”
