ITV bosses were so thrilled with the performance of Simon Cowell’s Britain’s Got Talent that they are planning to run it for a full series in a Saturday night primetime slot.

The show finished with an audience of 13 million and winner Paul Potts went on to acheive a £1 million pound record deal.

An ITV source confirmed: “It’s definitely a big plan to move Got Talent to Saturday nights.

“But we must fit in with Simon and see if it works with his American Idol filming.”
