Josh Dubovie may have just won Eurovision: Your Country Needs You but he has admitted that he failed to make it through to the televised rounds of Britain’s Got Talent.

The 19-year-old singer ( who we thought was merely the best of a bad bunch on last Friday night’s show) told The Sunday Express:

“Obviously I wasn’t what [Got Talent] were looking for. I thought my audition went really well but if they don’t want me, that’s fine. I’m still on cloud nine after being picked for Eurovision and I probably won’t come down!”

Speaking on BBC Breakfast this morning, he added: “I’ve always been trying to get my face out there as an artist. What a great opportunity this is to go for. To represent the UK – that is huge.”
