Britain’s Got Talent’s David Walliams is NOT loving the food on ‘Blandings’

David Walliams, Jennifer Saunders, Adrian Edmondson, Timothy Spall and other members of the cast of new BBC One series Blandings, posed with the staff of Neven Maguire restaurant on Thursday as thanks for their delicious food.

It’s the first glimpse we’ve got of the cast together as a group and judging by the tales on Jennifer Saunders’ Twitter it looks like we will be in for a treat. Talking about treats, it looks like the meal David Walliams ate at Neven was a cut above the meals he received on the set of the series itself.

Taking to his Twitter yesterday David gave his followers a picture of his scary looking lunch with the words:

”I am filming ‘Blandings’, and have just been given my lunch. Mmm…! Can’t wait!”

Fans were appalled with remarks of “vomit”, “diapers” and “poo” coming thick and fast. While Jennifer Saunders warned the actor: “Always go for the baked potato. It cant be interfered with.”

Despite the “food issue”, David enjoyed his time on set saying: “I have had the best week filming PG Woodhouse’s ‘Blandings’ with two comic giants, Jennifer Saunders and Timothy Spall. ‘

Blandings’ will be on BBC1 in the Autumn.
