Britian’s Got Talent: Young comedian Callum Oakley shows promise for David Walliams!

Callum Oakley is yet another young star to shine on tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent show.

As the auditions for the ITV series continued in Blackpool, the 16 year old comedian stood out from the crowd and impressed the judges, particularly David Walliams with his performance.

The GCSE student – who was named Young Comedian of the Year in 2010 – has been practicing his routine for the last few years and previously revealed that he started writing his own jokes and comedy routines at the age of 13.

Practice makes perfect it seems and on tonight’s show, Little Britain star Dvaid heaps praise on the young performer, saying:

‘I have never seen a stand up comic so young, and so brilliant. That was amazing.’

Tune in at 8.30pm to see Oakley’s full performance and what the rest of the judges made of his act. We think he’s a shoe in for the live shows, as are a few of the other young stars due to be featured this evening.

It appears that Britain does have talent….and young talent at that!
