Can You Stomach Stevie Starr “The Regurgitator”?
On tomorrow night’s Britain’s Got Talent, when Stevie Starr introduces himself to the judges and audience as “Regurgitator”, no-one quite knows what to expect. As the crowd respond with sounds of disgust, Stevie goes on to say “I know it sounds disgusting, but let me show you.”
Stevie starts his act with five one dollar coins in front of him marked 1,2,3,4 and 5. He swallows them and as each one drops you can hear it clink against the other inside of him. However, everything that goes in must come back out the same way. He calls upon the audience to help with this part, asking them to name a number between 1 and 5 and he will be able to bring that particular coin back up.
Enjoying this bizarre act from the wings, Ant explains “This is the one talent I wish I could do.”
The act moves on to the next stage as Stevie prepares to swallow a full size billiard ball.
The judges and audience alike watch through their fingers.
Judges Comments:
Amanda Holden – “To be honest I didn’t think I was going to like it, but I did find it fascinating, I couldn’t take my eyes off you.”
Piers Morgan – “It was pretty compelling to watch, pretty weird, and it made me gag a few times.”
SimonCowell – “So this is not a trick? I mean it’s not magic? You really are swallowing all that?”
Is this performance worthy of a slot on the Royal Variety Show or would it be just too much for the Royals’ to stomach? Find out on tomorrow night’s Britain’s Got Talent on ITV1.
