Cheryl Cole WON’T replace Michael McIntyre on Britain’s Got Talent 2012!

There’s a few empty seats on the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel and it seems like Simon Cowell wants Cheryl Cole to keep one warm.

Yesterday Michael McIntrye announced his decision to quit as a judge on the ITV show, saying that he wanted to dedicate his time and attention to his upcoming stand up tour instead. David Hasselhoff has also reportedly been sacked from the talent competition, leaving pregnant Amanda Holden flying solo at the judging table.

Insiders say that show boss Simon Cowell now wants former X factor judge Cheryl Cole to step into the breach, but she’s having none of it!

A pal of the star told The Sun:

“There’s no way she will do Britain’s Got Talent. She thinks it’s all a massive joke.

“Why on earth would she do that show when she turned down [a return to] The X Factor?”

Also being considered for the show is David Walliams, who we think would be just perfect in the role….it would be nice to see his serious side and get a feel for his actual personality, rather than that of his many alter egos.

We don’t think Cole would have worked on the show and can’t see her fitting in. Now BBC’s The Voice is a different story don’t you think?
