Connected returned to the Britain’s Got Talent stage tonight, after they won the judges vote on Tuesday night’s show.
During the semi final round they sang ‘No Boundaries’ by Kara DioGuardi, Simon Cowell told the 4 piece teenage group:
“I think that everything I said in your audition was right. It did feel like a bunch of guys put together by their mums. Tonight what I was worried about was that you would come out in suits singing a Boyzone song. This is chalk and cheese compared to what I saw before. I think you’ve got a real shot now.”
Tonight Connected promised to go back to a more boyband song in a bid to win votes and sang ‘What About Now’ previously released by Westlife and Daughtry.
We love these boys and they are they are simply the cutest thing ever but tonight their harmonies were a little off, their timing wasn’t great and even the massive pyrotechnics couldn’t save the routine for us. We don’t think they will win, but they will definitely get some sort of recording contract….Simon Cowell knows these boys can earn him money!
Piers Morgan: You have got this together at the right time. Each time you’ve got stronger, the vocals have got better and you know what….if he doesn’t want to manage you I will!
Amanda Holden: Last year you wanted DJ Talent. It was a fantastic performance and it’s really nice to have a boyband of boys and not half man. There is nothing out there like you at the moment and whether you win this show or not you are going to be massive.
Simon Cowell: I wasn’t as crazy tonight as I was in the semi final. You shouldn’t have chosen a Westlife song because then you turn into a mini tribute group. It stopped you being unique and it didn’t actually make you young enough. I like you guys a lot and I think you have great potential. I think you should have done something that would make you different from everyone else.
