Dance Flavourz bring the carnival to Britain’s Got Talent 2010
Dance act ‘Dance Flavourz’ will be showcased on tomorrow night’s Britain’s Got Talent. By day they are teachers, market researchers and shop assistants but by night they are Dance Flavourz, a carnival themed dance troupe consisting of 11 female dancers and one male dancer/singer.
‘The big dream is that Dance Flavourz be known worldwide,’ says 37 year old group leader Frances. ‘The group has been together for three years now. We’ll bring a lot of fun and colour in to Britain’s Got Talent and I’m sure the male judges will like what I’ve got with me.’
Backstage the girls’ colourful and very revealing carnival costumes get the thumbs up from Ant and Dec, so what will the judges think?
As Dance Flavourz take to the stage Simon says: ‘This is what we’ve been waiting for.’
The carnival begins as Frances transforms himself into Ricky Martin with Asi and Maria. The girls leave the stage for a quick costume change and return with a Bollywood theme. The energy, vibrancy and fun continues.
Dance Flavourz’ carnival vibe has spread to the audience, but has it reached the judges?
Piers – That was really, really special and you are utterly compelling to watch.
Amanda – I couldn’t keep my eyes off all the bits and bobs wiggling about. Perfect.
Simon – If I’m being honest this is total, utter madness. I don’t know what to do with you.
So will Dance Flavourz be taking the carnival through to the next round? Tune into ITV1 at 8pm tomorrow night to find out!
