David Walliams records new ITV show at schools and has secret meetings with … Justin Bieber!
What is it with David Walliams and schools these days? We reported earlier this week about his Reigate school visit, and then yesterday he visited another school: St John’s in Surrey.
These kids were even more hysterical to see the Britain’s Got Talent judge sitting on their “quad” and were actually close to harassing the poor guy, clamouring for a word, a smile, a touch and a picture. David tried to be kind and give his attention to everyone, but the headmaster soon had to intervene to get the comic to safety.
We were intrigued when we heard that David was recording and interviewing children, so we looked for someone who could tell us what exactly the comic is up to and you may be pleased to hear that we got an answer: We are told Mr Walliams is recording a new documentary for ITV. The documentary is all about him reuniting all the people who were in a play he was in when he was at school.
He also visited Box Hill, but his most unexpected visit came when he was back in London.
Many young schoolgirls (and boys) had gathered around the hotel where Justin Bieber was staying, but their “Justin” cries suddenly all at once changed to “David” when the comic turned up to the very same hotel. Within seconds all teenagers had forgotten about the young pop singer and gathered around the comic to chat and get pictures.
As he was carrying business papers many fans were certain the comic might be having a project lined up with young Justin. Well, we could see him in one of his videos, could you?
