Comic Relief has released a new video in which long term Comic Relief supporters David Walliams, Rowan Atkinson and The Doctor (aka Doctor Who star Matt Smith) record a special message to announce the launch of this years edition of the annual charity night.
Matt Smith’s participation seems to confirm that this year will see another Doctor Who special, we can’t wait!! Rowan Atkinson uses the opportunity to reveal a bit of his Bishop of Canterbury sketch (his first Relief sketch in years), while a slightly boss eyed David Walliams screams: “I’m not doing anything, I’ve done enough”, we think he’s right in this, after all he’s been through for the charity in the last eight years he deserves some time off…
Not that he has totally away from the charity this year, he has already posed for this years Red Nose Days Stella McCartney range T Shirts, agreed to take part in Graham Norton’s seven hour challenge and revealed he has taken part in the organisation.
David revealed on his Twitter on Friday “I am off to Manchester for BGT today to be with my Simon and hopefully re-unite with The Showbears…!”, seeing the Manchester auditions do till Saturday, we wonder what this interesting group is up to.
Could Simon Cowell become a Showbear for Comic Relief? Naah, that thought is probably too good to be true. Meanwhile, hardworking David has also revealed he recorded an audio book of Roald Dahl’s BFG this week. Where does he find the time.
