Sexy string quartet Escala are all set to land a £1 million deal with record company Sony BMG.
Simon Cowell is said to be keen to sign up the girls and try to break them in America.
A source told the News Of The World: “After seeing Escala’s performance on Friday night, Simon decided that win or lose, he was going to turn the girls into his next mega-money makers.
“They’ve got it all - the looks, intelligence and right attitude to make it big, and their music has wide appeal.
“He thinks the US will be a huge market for them and is lining up big TV appearances to build the interest.”
Cowell believes the group can become millionaires if they work with him.
The source added: “Simon’s convinced Escala will repeat the success Leona Lewis is having in the US. McFly are very popular in the UK and have had 13 top ten singles here, but they are unknown in America, where the big money is made. Bands like theirs just don’t take off there.”

I wish Escala the very best of luck.
However Cowell has managed to ‘forget’ about another 4-piece girl group doing the same thing and have been for a few years.
BOND The all british quartet - 2 violins, 1 viola and 1 cello.
What about them Mr Cowell? Or is it because they are on another label such as E.M.I.?
is there 1 showing in july at the o2 arena please please let me know?
