Fred Bowers In Benefit Fraud Scam
We first saw Fred Bowers break-dancing about the Britain’s Got Talent stage and the dancing pensioner has since made it through to the semi-finals of the show. However Fred has managed to get himself into trouble with the Department for Work and Pensions as he is currently claiming Disability Living Allowance due to supposed problems with his left leg.
A spokesperson from the Department for Work and Pensions confirmed that they were already investigating the case after being alerted by local benefits staff. “Although the Department of Work and Pensions does not comment on individual cases we do investigate and take seriously all accusations of fraudulent benefit claims,” they said in a statement.
However Fred claims that he doesn’t use his leg whilst performing his energetic routine. “My left leg is out of order but it doesn’t stop me dancing. I mostly stand still during the dancing and I don’t chase around the stage,” he told The Sun.
With that in mind, have a look at the clip above and you will see that he is clearly avoiding the truth. Fred uses the left left to launch into rolls, he stamps it, jumps on it and at no point does he wince in pain. I’d say Fred is going to be £280 a month worse off in the near future.

just wanted to know if any one can help me and tell what was the song called and artists name that Fred Bowers was “breakdancing” to on saturday night show of BGT
Many thanks
Claire
IF this is true, it’s disgraceful. If it’s not true, it’s a disgraceful lie.
There are people far more disabled than Fred who do not qualify for either component of Disability Benefit. I’m “lucky”, it’s difficult to say that someone who uses a wheelchair isn’t disabled, so I can be more objective when I write that Disability Benefit fraudsters are the lowest of the low, sucking cash out of tax-payers’ wallets for nothing and getting Disability Benefit a bad reputation.

many thanks simba for letting me know about that song!!!
The poor guy BARELY uses his fecking leg to do any of it… It’s just what he says. Someone is clearly jelous.
It is incredibly annoying and extremly childish that some (most) people are resorting to attacking this old man, based on the fact that he has a hobby. He is in no way committing fraud, and any idiots that lash out at him are just annoyed that at his age, they won’t be even half as “fit”.
Just leave the guy alone and let him enjoy the last few years of his life the best way he knows how. In this case… by dancing.
If he loses his money, my heart goes out to him.
many actions can be performed even if the body is under strain, my friend has rhumitheism in her hands but she still manages to clean 13 rooms a day to earn a living.
i myself have to work with flat feet, i work with a team of tradesmen, my feet kill me all day- besides its not as if fred bowers is performing and hour long routine.
DWP aint they got nothing better to do!!
like it or not..fred is committing fraud…to claim DLA mobility he must be unable to walk any distance through either loss of limb/s…or experience severe discomfort that makes him vitually unable to walk….so disregard his age..he is a fraud.Probably been getting it for years…Meanwhile truly disabled people are finding it ever increasingly hard to be awarded benefits through the actions of people like good old Fred{NOT}.I receive a war disablement pension along with thousands like me..Every 2 yrs or so we are treated has if we are fraudsters whilst they instigate med reports and visits, just so we can carry on getting what we are lawfully entitled to.The system seems to be of late that they are doing everything in their remit to take any percentage of disablement off of us to save our government money. So i have sweet f a time for Fred and his stupid dancing and his deception to claim money which could be going to genuine cases …He should be prosecuted to..Since when did being old make it acceptable to break the law?Glad he lost everything…
