Fred Bowers In Benefit Fraud Scam

We first saw Fred Bowers break-dancing about the Britain’s Got Talent stage and the dancing pensioner has since made it through to the semi-finals of the show. However Fred has managed to get himself into trouble with the Department for Work and Pensions as he is currently claiming Disability Living Allowance due to supposed problems with his left leg.

A spokesperson from the Department for Work and Pensions confirmed that they were already investigating the case after being alerted by local benefits staff. “Although the Department of Work and Pensions does not comment on individual cases we do investigate and take seriously all accusations of fraudulent benefit claims,” they said in a statement.

However Fred claims that he doesn’t use his leg whilst performing his energetic routine. “My left leg is out of order but it doesn’t stop me dancing. I mostly stand still during the dancing and I don’t chase around the stage,” he told The Sun.

With that in mind, have a look at the clip above and you will see that he is clearly avoiding the truth. Fred uses the left left to launch into rolls, he stamps it, jumps on it and at no point does he wince in pain. I’d say Fred is going to be £280 a month worse off in the near future.
