George Redwood hopes for Britain’s Got Talent 2012 success

A 15 year old singer is hoping that he has what it takes to impress the Britain’s Got Talent judges, when he auditions for them later this month.

George Redwood has made it through the producers’ audition rounds of the ITV show and will next get the chance to sing for Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and David Walliams when the tryouts hit Birmingham at the end of February.

George has revealed that he will be performing his own version of Adele’s Don’t You Remember Me for the celebrity panel and confessed that he is very nervous about performing not only in front of the famous faces, but also a 2,000 strong audience.

He told Echo:

“I’m really excited but nervous at the thought of performing in front of a large audience and the panel of judges.

“My mum took the phone call saying I had got through, but I had to ring the number back because I was so shocked.

“I just cannot believe it.”

George is no stranger to the talent show process though and last year, managed to get through to the semi finals of the Open Mic UK competition.

He also made it through to the finals of ‘Essex’s Got Talent’ earlier in 2012.

George has described himself as a “Mini Michael Buble” and has already clocked up over 16,000 views on his own youtube page. Check out a video of him performing at Essex’s Got Talent below.
