George Sampson Blames Simon Cowell For Single Flop
The ever so wise teenager, George Sampson, has blamed Simon Cowell for the fact that his debut single failed to make top twenty in the UK singles chart.
Discussing how Cowell planned it all wrong, Sampson told the Daily Star: “It was purely based on the timing, which was wrong. We should have done the DVD first to get the visual and let everyone see the new routine on the Royal Variety Show, then brought out the single.”
Music mogul (?) George also suggested that Simon was to blame for X Factor winner Leon Jackson’s awfully performing album.
“He left it too long,” Sampson explained. “People forget about you after a year, he needed to move quicker.”
I would have to strongly disagree with Master Sampson. His single flopped because he is NOT a singer. He won Britain’s Got Talent after performing a dance routine, why on earth would anyone want to hear him sing, or badly rap a crap and very forgettable song.
As for Leon, people did forget him easily, but that was purely because he has no personality to speak of and a distinctly mediocre talent.
Time to let go of the bitterness George!

Get over yourself George, You won a competition doing a dance act so why do you suddenly think you know better than Simon Cowell. Surely you should be grateful for Simon giving you the chance, it was you yourself that let yourself down, you cannot sing but money was on offer, stick to the dancing and stop blaming others for your failings.

Don’t be daft George you dance really well but you can not sing.
Re Leon, it is simply a case of Leon should not have won as he was not the best on the night. It also goes to show that you need national support from music consumers to sell successfully. A competition like the X factor may well be won by someone popular regionally ie , Irish, Scottish or maybe a Londoner but sales must be a Nationally achieved to be a real success.

I doubt George actually said that but both statments are correct.
George’s Cd: It should have been sold later after the DVD, he was just trying to fulfill his dreams and maybe he’s not the best singer but atleast he tried. If his Single was sold later it wouldn’t have had Take That’s competiton and the signings were on a weekday so if you live far away it’s harder.
Leon: Simon did wait to long. You don’t need a good personality to sell cd’s you need to be able to sing and to be known. People forgot about Leon which is why he flopped.
