Got Talent’s Ice will keep their choreographers

Britain’s Got Talent dance troupe ‘Ice’ have revealed that they will be ignoring Simon Cowell’s advice to fire their teachers and choreograph their own dance routines.

The group, whose members range from12 to 18 year old, appeared on Saturday night’s show and danced their hearts out in an energetic routine to a mash up of hip hop and pop songs, including Black Eyed Peas I’ve Gotta Feeling.

While Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden were greatly impressed – Piers thought it was ‘very original’, while Amanda called their choreography ‘fantastic – Simon Cowell wasn’t convinced.

He said:

“I thought overall it was well done. I have a slight problem…you are being choreographed from other people which always for me makes it slightly less real. It’s got a dance school element to it. I genuinely believe these things when they work they work from within. You may have to fire your choreographers.” (VIDEO HERE)

However, today the girls told The Sun that they will be keeping their teachers on board but insisted that they do help put the routines together.

Dancer Emily Taylor, 17, from Rotherham, South Yorks, said: “We were disappointed. We do have input in dance classes.”

Teacher Nikki added: “Remember they are just kids. For them to choreograph themselves would be really hard.”

Do you think they made the right decision?
