Jive Aces bring the sunshine to Simon Cowell & Britain’s Got Talent 2012!
The Jive Aces brought a real sense of fun to Britain’s Got Talent tonight and watching them perform, we couldn’t help but wish we had been in the audience on the day of their audition for the ITV show.
They took to the stage in Cardiff, all dressed in bright yellow suits, causing Alesha Dixon to laugh:
‘Aren’t you just a ray of sunshine?’
However, it wasn’t just the former Strictly Come Dancing judge that they impressed, as music mogul Simon Cowell was a huge fan too.
The swing band sang ‘I Wanna Be Like You’ from The Jungle Book, which was a great ploy considering Cowell’s love of cartoons and children’s movies.
After Ian Clarkson, Ken Smith, Vince Hurley, Peter Howell, John Fordham and Alex Douglas had performed, the usually grumpy show boss told the band he thought they were ‘brilliant’, adding:
“That has really put me in a good mood.”
We bet the producers wished they had discovered the secret earlier.
David Walliams was also a fan and after Cowell gave the group a yes for the next round, he added:
Alesha Dioxn continued:
‘A massive yes from me guys, you are through to the next round.’
