Kelly Brook Kicked Off Britain’s Got Talent 2009!

So it would seem that Kelly Brook has NO talent as her stint as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent lasted a mere six days. Simon Cowell hired her last week and sacked her this, after there was a severe lack of chemistry between her and her fellow judges.
Simon Cowell brought Kelly on board at the last minute for a whopping £200,000, so late in the game that even Ant and Dec weren’t told of the appointment. However he realised quickly that the girl is just a pretty face, something I could have told him after watching her present ITV’s Love Island in 2005.
An insider told The Mirror: “She simply didn’t have what it takes. There have been a lot of tears and tantrums the past few days. Kelly came breezing in and Amanda, in particular, was very worried. But as soon as the first act came in it was clear that Kelly wasn’t ready.
“You have to think on your feet to come up with something good to say each time. It can be very tough keeping it fresh. Kelly struggled from the start. Simon and the producers tried to give her advice, but it didn’t seem to work.
“She got very stressed and upset as she thought people were having a go and that just made her more nervous. There was an almighty row and it was downhill from there.”
The insider added: “Simon quickly realised he had made a mistake and thought it best to cut his losses. He thinks the world of Kelly and knows she is talented.
“He thought she would bring some glamour to the series.
“But he realised that she wasn’t right. He couldn’t let his personal feelings get in the way of the show so everyone decided it was best to call it a day. It’s not as if Kelly was enjoying the experience much herself.”
Simon said in a statement: “I have genuinely enjoyed working with Kelly, she is absolutely lovely and a complete professional.
“But it’s become clear the format doesn’t support another judge and we will never add a fourth judge to the panel.”
A spokesman for production company Talkbackthames added: “The format of the show is cleaner and less complicated with just three judges, which was not fully appreciated ahead of filming.
“Producers reviewed the tapes over the weekend and although Kelly brings a huge amount of warmth to the show and we’ve loved having her on board, the complications it adds to the filming process and format of the show means that unfortunately, and with huge regret, we have agreed with ITV not to proceed with a fourth judge.”
The only TV show that Kelly has ever really added to was Strictly Come Dancing, and that’s really because she wasn’t allowed to speak much. Brook comes across as a really nice girl, she’s probably a really great gal pal but on TV she’s like a limp lettuce. She is wooden and clichéd and her presenting live presenting skills are seriously lacking. I think that Simon made the right call on this one!
