14 year old Liam McNally returned to Britain’s Got Talent for tonight’s semi final show. For his first audition, he impressed the judges with his crystal clear rendition of ‘O Danny Boy’. Simon Cowell told him “When you sing you have fire in your eyes, you have emotion. You have a real warmth when you perform…it’s believable.

Also known as Aled Jones 2.0, tonight Liam sang Josh Groban’s ‘You Raise Me Up’ and though we heard the odd nervy wobble in his voice, overall we thought Liam did really really well. One of the better child acts this year don’t you think? We were so ready to hate it too!!
