Louis Walsh replaces Simon Cowell on Britain’s Got Talent 2010!

Calm down, don’t worry he’s not a permanent replacement! Louis Walsh is only temporarily replacing Simon Cowell on the Britain’s Got Talent panel, while Mr C recovers from a bad bout of flu.

Today’s BGT auditions are taking place in Birmingham and Simon Cowell has reportedly been forced to pull out, after falling ill.

The Daily Mail reports that until Simon is recovered, Louis Walsh will join Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan on the judging panel.

A source said: “Simon has been terribly sick this week, he has not stopped for months and it has all caught up with him.

“He just needs some rest and he’ll be as good as new. He has been under the weather for the past week and it was clear that he could not join the judges today.”

They added: “It was all very last minute – Louis only got the call last night, but he’s already looking forward to teasing Amanda and Piers mercilessly. You can bet that he will pull no punches.”

Simon isn’t the only star to fall ill this week. SYTYCD judge Nigel Lythgoe and TV presenter Jonathan Ross have also been forced to take a few days out, to recuperate after a bout of swine flu.
