Martyn Crofts to impersonate a Dalek on Britain’s Got Talent 2012

It doesn’t sound like much of an act but insiders have told Unreality TV that that Dalek impersonator Martyn Crofts is set to shine on this weekend’s Britain’s Got Talent show.

The unlikely star works at Skipton Building Society, but fancies himself as quite the comedy performer outside of his day job and a few months ago showed up to tryout for the ITV show.

Dressed in a smart business suit and wearing a saucepan on his head, the funnyman impressed the judges with his impression of the popular Doctor Who villain.

A clip of his audition was shown last weekend, at the very end of the penultimate pre-recorded episode and it has been reported that Crofts prepared for the ITV show by honing his act in local clubs and pubs.

Tune into BGT tomorrow night at 8.30pm, to see what the panel make of Martyn’s act and if he is good enough to win a place in the live shows.

It sounds like something that’s just weird and wonderful enough to capture the attention of David Walliams at least!
